Neda Nikbakht, MD, PhD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist with clinical expertise in treating cutaneous T-cell lymphomas. A physician-scientist, Dr. Nikbakht focuses her research on identifying disease mechanisms and developing new therapeutic strategies for cutaneous malignancies.
She is an acting associate professor in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology, with a joint appointment in the Department of Dermatology at Emory University School of Medicine. Before joining Emory, she was on the faculty at Thomas Jefferson University and served as director of the Multidisciplinary Cutaneous Lymphoma Program.
Dr. Nikbakht earned her PhD in immunology and her MD from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. She completed her internal medicine and dermatology residencies at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and a postdoctoral research fellowship at Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center.
