Dr. SAcks has been my rock since I've been diagnosed with breast cancer. I feel that she and her team have listened to me far more about my concerns and any questions that I had without making me feel like I was a total airhead when it came to the situation with my diagnosis. So I don't mind the fact that I have to wait a little bit longer to be seen by her when sitting in the office because I know she's doing a thorough job and she's actually listening and addressing concerns her patience have. And NOT Just passing us off as numbers or cattle being sent off to the slaughter house like the surgical team does.

Yes since I have doctors and nurses in my family I always have some medical questions like my brother in law's tells me to ask my doctor if it's possible for her to check to see if radiation wants be faster treatment for me than chemotherapy because I have a very bad side effects with the chemotherapy maybe if her and her colleagues can see if radiation will work better for me she will check into it.

I have seen a dramatic improvement in Dr. Sacs as a physician over the past two visits. She really listened to me, showed concern, and discussed my care with me. When she first came, she was curt and abrupt, and left quickly. She has improved greatly!

Dr. Sacks is fabulous -- while relatively "new to the block" of Emory, she has shown that she will contribute much devotion in addition to information and knowledge. She takes time to answer questions and stays up to date with research and shares that with me.

Dr. Sacks was not able to answer all of my questions during our virtual visit, but she followed up with a nutritionist and a pharmacist on my behalf to get some information I had requested.
