Nicholas Seyfried, PhD, is a professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Neurology at Emory University School of Medicine and is a member of the Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases. As scientific director of the Emory Integrated Proteomics Core, he coordinates efforts to address the needs of investigators needing protein analytical services by cutting edge mass spectrometry.
Education
Dr. Seyfried earned his PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine and held a postdoctoral research position in the Complex Carbohydrate Research Center at the University of Georgia.
