Biography
Meng Zhang, PhD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Urology with a joint appointment in the Department of Human Genetics at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Zhang is a member of the Cell and Molecular Biology Research Program at Winship Cancer Institute, and a faculty member of Emory University's Cancer Biology Graduate Program in the Graduate Division of Biological and Biomedical Sciences.
Education
Dr. Zhang received her PhD in Cell Biology from Yale University and her MS in Computer Science from Stanford University. She finished her postdoctoral training at the University of California, San Francisco.

Research
Dr. Zhang has a multidisciplinary research background in both bioinformatics and molecular biology. Her lab research aims to develop novel therapeutic targets for prostate and genitourinary cancer and identify regulatory mechanisms and novel RNA and protein species with translational potential.
