A board-certified medical oncologist, Oluwadunni Emiloju, MBBS, MS, specializes in the treatment of gastrointestinal (GI) cancers. She joined the clinical staff at Winship Cancer Institute at Emory Midtown as an attending physician in 2024.
Dr. Emiloju is an assistant professor in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine and is a member of the Discovery and Developmental Therapeutics Research Program at Winship Cancer Institute.
As a physician-scientist, she is interested in immune therapeutics of GI cancers, including immunologically cold GI cancers. She conducts clinical trials of novel treatments in gastrointestinal cancers, and also contributes to the education of trainees at various levels including fellows, residents, graduate students and undergraduate students.
Dr. Emiloju received her medical degree from University of Ibadan College of Medicine in Nigeria. She completed her Hematology and medical oncology fellowship at Mayo Clinic Rochester in Minnesota and her Internal Medicine Residency at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia.

Enhancing systemic therapy options in resectable esophagogastric adenocarcinoma
Identifying novel biomarker targets in anal squamous cell carcinoma
Overcoming resistance to KRAS inhibition in pancreatic cancer
Preemptive pharmacogenomic testing for dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase deficiency and correlating abnormal DPYD genotype with clinical phenotype
