Sandra Gjorgova Gjeorgjievski, MD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine. A board certified pathologist, Dr. Gjorgova Gjeorgjievski's clinical responsibilities include bone and soft tissue pathology with an emphasis in sarcoma, and breast pathology.
Dr. Gjorgova Gjeorgjievski received her Medical Degree from Ss. Cyril and Methodius University Medical School in Skopje, Macedonia. She completed a fellowship in surgical pathology at Mayo Clinic, School of Graduate Medical Education in Rochester, Minnesota, and a fellowship in bone and soft tissue pathology at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Gjorgova Gjeorgjievski has research interest in bone and soft tissue sarcomas, and the correlation of the histopathologic and morphologic features with the molecular and immunohistochemical characteristics of the neoplasms.
