Ilya Nemenman, PhD, MS, is an associate professor in the Department of Biology and in the Department of Physics at Emory University. Dr. Nemenman is a member of the Cell and Molecular Biology Research Program at Winship.
Dr. Nemenman earned his PhD in Physics from Princeton University and his MS in Physics from San Francisco State University.
Dr. Nemenman's research focuses on working to understand how biological systems, such as cells, organisms, and populations, learn from their surrounding environment and respond to it.
