Winship delivers multidisciplinary care to patients with acquired and inherited bleeding disorders. Both the adult and pediatric bleeding disorders programs are part of the Emory Bleeding Disorders Clinic. In addition to our hematology experts specializing in blood disorders, our team also includes infectious disease specialists, specialized nurse coordinators, a coagulation lab, physical therapists, psychiatrists, genetic counselors, nutritionists and social workers.
Winship has a close partnership with the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. This allows us to provide compassionate and coordinated care to the youngest patients. As they transition from pediatric to adult care, we are there with them every step of the way.
