Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University
Winship Cancer Institute Emory University Campus
1365 C Clifton Road NE
Atlanta, Georgia 30322
Located in Atlanta, Georgia, The Winship Cancer Institute clinic and research facility is located adjacent to the Emory University Campus. Opened in 2003, the facility houses three floors of lab space, each the size of a football field. The design deliberately placed patient care floors on the lower levels of the building so our researchers, scientists, faculty, and staff would always be reminded as they walk through the patient waiting areas that our mission to fight cancer is an urgent one.
There is a cafe on the first floor and other dining options within walking distance. The Patient and Family Resource Center, located on the first floor, adjacent to the cafe, offers free computer access and a place to relax and gather information from volumes of cancer related resources. There you will also find the Radiance Boutique specializing in prosthesis and fashion accessories for cancer patients.
The Winship building is LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified as a green facility. You can find more information about the green initiatives at Emory on our Sustainability Initiatives website.
