At the Winship Cancer Institute, we know that cancer care can be complicated. As our patient, we want to make your experience as easy as possible.

You or your family member can request an appointment by simply calling us toll-free at 1 (888) WINSHIP (946-7447) or at (404) 778-1900.

Our team will review your information and provide a more complete response when we return your call, which we will do promptly, usually within a few hours. We will ask you questions about you and your cancer diagnosis, answer questions regarding your visit, and help you schedule an appointment.

Telehealth at Winship

At Winship, we are taking advantage of the latest technologies to provide our patients with options for their care. One of these options is telehealth. Through a telehealth visit, you will connect with your doctor or care team by online video with your mobile device or computer.

Schedule a Proton Therapy Consultation

Referring physicians and patients with questions about proton therapy and its appropriateness for their individual cancers can schedule a consultation with a Winship radiation oncology expert by calling 1-833-3PROTON (1-833-377-6866).

Request an Appointment for Gynecologic Cancer

If you have been diagnosed with a gynecologic cancer, our multidisciplinary team works with experts from Emory Clinic Gynecology & Obstetrics to provide outstanding patient care. To request an appointment, please call (404) 778-3401.

Schedule a Mammogram

Operated by Emory Healthcare, The Emory Breast Imaging Center provides mammography, ultrasound and other screening options for the detection of breast tumors and lesions. To request an appointment for a mammogram, call (404) 778-PINK (778-7465) to speak with a scheduling coordinator.

Schedule a Lung CT

Emory Healthcare offers lung computed tomography, or CT, screening at all Winship locations. For more information on lung CT screening, call (404) 686-5864 (LUNG).

In an effort to provide you with the best service possible, we have prepared information on what to expect on your first visit, a checklist of items to bring with you and links to useful information about insurance coverage, billing, parking, directions, lodging, restaurants and more.

Use the Emory Healthcare patient portal to access and download limited portions of your medical records.

If you do not have access or need help accessing your patient portal, please call (404) 727-8820. Calls are answered 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. ET, Monday-Friday. You may also contact your physician's office for an invitation.

If the record documentation you need is not in your patient portal, you will need to submit a request to medical records. Visit the Emory Healthcare website for details on how to request a copy of your medical records.

We encourage you to obtain insurance coverage information directly from your insurance company or from your employer's benefits office prior to your visit.

As a courtesy, The Emory Clinic will file your insurance claims, both primary and secondary. We will work with you to help ensure you receive full benefit from your insurance company, and we will respond to requests from your insurer for additional information.

For billing purposes, it is important to note that hematology and medical oncology clinics including the ambulatory infusion centers at all Winship locations are operated by Emory University Hospital Midtown.
