Background
Ruoyu Miao, MD, is a medical oncologist specializing in the treatment of gastrointestinal cancer. Dr. Miao joined the clinical staff at Winship Cancer Institute as an attending physician in 2024. Her practice is located at Winship Cancer Institute on the Clifton campus.
Dr. Miao received her MD from Peking Union Medical College in Beijing, China. She completed internal medicine residency at Advent Health Orlando in Orlando, Florida and her fellowship in hematology/oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida, where she was chief fellow in her final year.

Dr. Minutes you was better than the first visit. Her treatment plan was presented & that was it. Told her we were getting a 2nd opinion. Asked if she would work with the other cancer facility. She said NO. That was it.
