Biography
Asia O. Cage, MSW, provides counseling and support services for patients who have received treatment for head and neck cancer. She joined the multidisciplinary head and neck team at Winship Cancer Institute at Emory Midtown in 2023.
Asia has a joyful and empathetic heart to service the patients and families during their cancer care. She has worked in various medical settings and has more than six years of experience in servicing inpatient, outpatient, low income families and children, addiction recovery and hospice. She believes in her Masters program mission statement, “Advocacy, Empowerment and Transformation”. She exemplifies this statement to ensure she is a great example to her patients.
Education
Asia received a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Psychology from Dillard University and a Master of Social Work Degree from Southern University at New Orleans.
