Research Focus Dr. Willingham's areas of interest include minimally invasive endoscopic surgery, endoscopic ablation and endoscopic mucosal resection for the management of dysplasia, superficial neoplasms, and Barrett’s esophagus.
Education Dr. Willingham received his Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University and his Medical Degree from University of Maryland. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Chief Residency at Baylor Affiliated Hospitals through Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Willingham completed his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. He also completed his Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital through Harvard Medical School.
