Research Focus Dr. Gabram's current research focuses on decreasing disparities for breast cancer patients. From a predictive health perspective, Dr. Gabram collaborates with researchers from Georgia Tech on the examination of breath biomarkers in exhaled specimens as a potential tool for breast cancer disease detection and monitoring. To date she has over 65 peer reviewed journal publications.
Education Dr. Gabram earned her Medical Degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., completed her Residency at the Washington Hospital Center and her Fellowship at Hartford Hospital at the University of Connecticut. She also holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Connecticut.

Awards Dr. Gabram is the recipient of numerous awards and honors. She has been named by the patient resource guide Castle Connolly as one of America’s Top Doctors for eight consecutive years and American’s Top Cancer Doctors for six consecutive years. She has received the Arthur G. Michel, MD Award for Excellence in Breast Care from the Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization and was selected as one of Atlanta Magazine’s Top Doctors in 2007 and 2009. In the November 2008 Women’s Health magazine she was named one of five top oncologists for women in the South. Recently, she was awarded a scholarship from the American College of Surgeons to participate in a Leadership Program in Health Policy and Management at Brandeis University. Additionally, she is a member of several prestigious professional societies including a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the Society of Surgical Oncology and the American Society of Breast Surgeons.
