Clinical Specialties Dr. Keilen specializes in advanced endoscopy and diagnostic, therapeutic and palliative care for all GI cancers (esophageal, gastric, small bowel, pancreatic, cholangiocarcinoma, colon). Dr. Keilen also conducts very specialized procedures endoscopically along with Dr. Cai and Dr. Willingham, including both RFA and Cryotherapy for Barrett’s esophagus, endoscopic mucosal resection for Barrett’s esophagus/early esophageal adenocarcinoma, SPYGLASS(Cholangioscopy) for pancreatic cancer/cholangiocarcinoma, enteral stenting for esophageal, gastroduodenal, and colonic obstruction and single balloon enteroscopy for evaluation of small bowel tumors.
Education Dr. Keilin earned his B.S. in Chemistry from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1996 and his Medical Degree from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2004. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at the Atlanta Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia in 2007 and went on to complete a Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the John H. Stoger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, Illinois.
